The idea behind MiVote has been percolating in our Founder and Chief Steward Adam Jacoby's mind for many years. Along the way, what is now known as MiVote has evolved with the input, advice and collaboration of people from all walks of life.

MiVote is the result of thousands of hours of conversations with people from all walks of life. Lawyers, Politicians from left and right - state, federal and local, Aboriginal Elders, Community leaders, regional and remote community representatives, people from the civil society movement, Academics, Business and industry leaders, Technical experts, people from the public service, advocates for young people, and many, more. Each conversation evolves MiVote, and it continues to grow, iterate and evolve towards its goal of enacting the informed will of the people to allow self determination for the people in their community decision-making.
