MiVote currently have six vacancies for part-time Rotational Interns to assist and develop MiVote in technical, marketing and operational capacity.

 

Position Description: Rotational Intern (RI) (x6)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Supervised by: Rotational manager/pillar lead
Appointment Period: 
November 2016 – March 2017
Remuneration: Volunteer

About MiVote

MiVote Australia is an information platform that presents customers with a variety of perspectives on major issues up for debate in the Australian Parliament and many others that affect our lives, via the MiVote App. The MiVote App enables members to make an informed, well rounded decision and have a say on where our country should go. Putting real change at Australians’ fingertips.

 

The Position

We currently have six vacancies for part-time Rotational Interns to assist and develop MiVote in technical, marketing and operational capacity. Your undergraduate studies will have well prepared you theoretically for the work environment and MiVote offers you applied experience with the opportunity to make more informed career decisions.Each intern will spend one month in the operations, user experience, marketing and communications and events department to grasp a multi-dimensional experience of MiVote. The position holder may gain experience with some of the following:     

  • Planning and delivering events              
  • Screening and interviewing candidates    
  • Learning and developing blockchain      
  • Designing workflow diagrams    
  • Preparing for large conferences             
  • Contributing to strategy    
  • Developing project plans

 

The position-holder will be able to work from the office in Collingwood or from home, with hours to suit. Thus, selection criteria include:

  • Able to work autonomously
  • Produce high quality work to deadline
  • Work well within a team
  • Offer excellent communication & liaison
  • Proven collaborative ability            
  • Enrolled in/graduated UG study
